We are a dynamic hospitality group with a fast-expanding portfolio of restaurants, hotels, pubs and bars looking to recruit a Senior Sous Chef at Hertford House, a newly refurbished Boutique hotel in Hertford (short train journey from central London).
The Senior Sous Chef has the control and responsibility of ensuring the brigade is working as one, mentoring across all levels creating a stable and honest working environment for the team. Supporting your Head Chef in daily tasks, creating and delivering the finest quality dishes under the direction of our Head Chef and Award-winning Chef Andrew Clarke who consults on menu development. The Snr Sous will run the operation comfortably in the Head Chef’s absence, this requires experience in managing a team and exposure to a fast-paced environment.

Hiring Qualifications:
• 3 - 4 years of experience as a working Sous Chef
• Has managed a brigade
• Understands and has a keen interest in food trends
• Must be driven by quality, producing world class dishes
• Have had previous success in a fast-paced working environment

• Need to be highly organised and work well under pressure

The Sous Chef will need to display a presence on the pass and leadership skills to ensure effective management across the brigade.

The position of Sous Chef sits within a management structure of Head Chef and Senior Sous, and will support the team with daily tasks and create and deliver the finest quality dishes under the direction of our Head Chef and Award-winning Chef Andrew Clarke who consults on menu development.

to recruit a Head Chef and leader for Anexo Tapas, a newly launched Spanish restaurant and wine bar in Hertford (short train journey from central London).
Serving an exceptional menu of traditional Spanish tapas, designed by award winning chef Andrew Clarke, Anexo has been well received since launch and we are now recruiting for a permanent Head Chef to keep standards high and continue to develop this much-loved brand.

As a Head Chef within our Restaurant you will be leading a brigade of chefs, priding themselves on pace and attention to detail, whilst creating a wide selection of small dishes using the best ingredients and delivering exceptional quality for our guests.
Anexo takes inspiration from regional Spanish cuisine, with a focus on tapas and pinxtos.
